December Daily - The Album Pages
Now - before I started this project, I wondered if I would have enough "interesting" things to fill the book. I actually jotted down a quick list, and then kept adding to it. Really, this project is supposed to be about the daily stuff too, so we'll see if it turns out boring, lol!
Here is the first series of pages...
Pages 5 through 10
Pages 11 through 16
Page 11 paper bag booklet inside...
Page 17
Page 18
Page 19 - a little envelope pocket
Pages 20 through 25
Pages 26 through 31
And there you have it! I've included lots of envelopes and places to tuck in journaling or photos, and I have a few digi kits that will match my color scheme, so I will likely add some 8x8 digi pages as well and make this a truly hybrid project.
Did you notice that my color scheme includes PINK??? *grin*
Thanks for stopping by! Good luck to all you "BLACK FRIDAY" shoppers out there! Any shopping I do will be online, lol!

December Daily...
I hope that you are enjoying the day with family, friends, and FOOD!
December is around the corner - MONDAY PEOPLE! December 1 is MONDAY! Aaaack! I *finally* have my December Daily album ready to go. All in all, this was a very doable project, I just was dilly-dallying getting my pages numbered, lol.
Before I unveil my pages, I want to share a bit about my process for getting this project organized:
First, I gathered my supplies. I started with an 8x8 acrylic album from Scrapworks - the album was 8 pages, including 6 tabbed pages, plus a front and back cover.
The album comes with binder rings, but since I was adding so many pages (I have 31 total pages, plus the front/back cover) I needed larger binder rings, which I found at an office supply store.
For supplies, I gathered up alphabet and number stickers, buttons, ribbons, patterned paper, cardstock, brads, rubber stamps and ink, my Crop-A-Dile, scissors, paper trimmer, and adhsive.
While I was working on my album, I kept everything contained in a large basket. (This is the Large Serving Basket by Longaberger) I will keep the same supplies available to use when I am adding photos and journaling to my pages.
I used a variety of envelopes, folded cards, mini file folders, and even a brown paper bag in the album as pages. I kept my supplies to the same basic color scheme, but tried to not be too "matchy matchy" with my album.
I have to say special thanks to my friends Mish and Pine for sharing the details on this project (original idea by Ali Edwards) and inspiring me to give it a try!
You can see Ali's album here; Mish's album here; and Pine's album here. My friend Kookie also joined in the challenge too! Kooks' album is here.
Tomorrow I will share my pages - JUST IN TIME for December! It's not too late to get this project started! You can skip the Black Friday crowds and work on this instead!

Gals Weekend...
I did some digi shoppin' on the weekend (Sweet Shoppe *finally* reopened, their new site is FAB, and of course, there were a million great new kits, lol!) and so I was eager to unzip my new kits, and get scrappin!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this new kit by Dani Mogstad - Sweet November! These colors are SO RICH! Everything you need is in this kit! I didn't have to go in search of a thing to finish my layout. This is a fall/Thanksgiving kit, without being overly "Thanksgiving-y" - you know what I mean?
I also snagged these funky Tattered Overlays 2 from Lynne-Marie at CatScrap. OH MAN are these FAB! I love the texture, and they are really easy to use (meaning, I got it to work on the first try, lol...). I also grabbed the Photo and Page Overlays too. I can't wait to shabby up some more papers and photos with these!
These photos are from my Gals Weekend at the beginning of November - is it time for the spring weekend yet??? We have SO MUCH FUN on our weekends! As you can see, the drinks were flowing, and there was a ton of girltalk and lots of laughs. We shopped, hung out, and went to the movies - it was a FAB weekend!
Thanks for stopping by - have a FAB Tuesday!

Friday Photo Shoot...
ANYHOW - we are OFF AND RUNNING for yet another bizzy week (I'm noticing a trend here, hmmm...), BUT - I just had to pop in and post these shots from my photo shoot last Friday. I was SO EXCITED about this session because I've been reading and studying and practicing all summer, and I am finally feeling like I (sort of) know what I'm doing, lol...
Special thanks to my friend Sara (HI SARA!) for being my best (and only, lol) customer while I learn photography. Could these sweet girls be ANY CUTER??? Seriously. (And mom and dad aren't too bad either, lol!) Here are my favorites - there were SO MANY keepers, I had a hard time choosing! THAT is the sort of problem I like to have, haha!
I call this first one the "money shot", lol. It's my favorite from the day - the lighting was perfect (yucky gloomy Nov MN day = perfect light for outdoor photography).
This one just cracks me up! LOL! Dad is a good sport here, with all the "monkeys" on his back, hehehe...
Here is mom and sweet baby Abigail...awwww...
Hmmm...I wonder if Bella has dad wrapped around her li'l finger? YA THINK?
Baby Abigail chose our session to start crawling! (Okay - NOT REALLY, but she is on the verge! Any day now!) I love how you can see Bella in the background - she was just taking a little break before we headed outside.
Awww...these sweet sister shots are too cute. I LOVE these matching hats!
"Angela, are we going to lunch now?" Heh heh - YOU BET, Bella! (Even though it was only 10:15am, lol). Take special note of the PENGUIN BOOTS here, haha!
Have a FABULOUS MONDAY - thanks for stopping by!

Warmest Wishes...
I am headed out for my GIRLS WEEKEND (mandatory meeting) - WHOOHOO!
Not sure how *warm* it is, as we woke up to... (brace yourselves, people...)
SNOW.
On the ground.
Aaaaaack! Ummm...wasn't it just TUESDAY that we had a record setting high temp of 76 degrees??? Only in MN, lol...
This is another card from when I was putzing with Piney's Rustic Branches set. I've also been slaving away on my December Daily album, and will be sharing that next week! I have the pages completed, and just need to finish numbering them -YAY!
That's IT for me - I'm OUT until Monday afternoon! Have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Monday!
The weather has been AMAZING - temps way above normal for this time of year. That made for good trick or treating! The kids had a fab time and got WAY TOO MUCH candy, lol. MamaFab enjoyed her visit, and we loved having her. On Saturday we ran around and shopped like crazy people, BUT we managed to get my nephew's birthday gifts, AND Mom got a good start on her Christmas shopping for the grandkids. She likes to get that out of the way early and just enjoy the season.
Yesterday, Rod scored some last minute Viking's tickets (YAY for eBay, lol), so he and Wyatt headed to the game. Mad and I just hung out - she was tired from a Saturday night slumber party, and I was working on my December Daily album. I have 22 pages so far - WHOOHOO! I haven't numbered anything yet, but hopefully I'll be sharing photos this week! I'm *so excited* about this project!
We are off and running for the week! Just sharing a quick page for Halloween 2008...
